PRIDEfest in San Luis Obispo was a joyous occasion that the local community looked forward to for the last 2+ years. For the first time ever, it was a 3 day celebration that happened at Laguna Lake Park in SLO. Also, for the first time ever, the event featured a DJ/Dance area that I had the honor and opportunity to DJ at and feel a part of the event. There was a ton of fun to be had by all ages and genders, in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment filled with love. My kind of event! The kids got so awestruck during the Drag Show that they got as many drag queens to sign their arms as possible, which resulted in them never wanting to wash their arms again, haha! It ended with mariachis! What else could you ask for? Huge THANKS to GALA PRIDE and DIVERSITY CENTER (https://galacc.org) for hosting and organizing the event. It was a huge effort and it showed!
